Khao San road is situated near the historical districts in Bangkok. It borders the meandering waters of the Chao Phraya River. The royal Grand Palace and the peaceful majestic grounds of Wat Po are within walking distance as well as Thailand’s national museums and other cultural and educational institutions. For many travelers who wish to explore Bangkok’s historical and cultural sights on a budget, making Khao San road as your base is ideal.
